Google Launches Mobile Blogging Capabilities for Blogger
April 15, 2009 by: adminGoogle has updated the Blogger dashboard to simplify setting up email and mobile posting for Blogspot blogs. It now supports SMS, MMS, and email posting. The idea is that you can easily post updates to your blog easily while you are on the go.

To set up SMS or MMS posting, click the phone icon next to a specific blog from the dashboard.

You’ll see a claim code, which can be sent to BLOGGR (256447) via SMS (or go@blogger.com via MMS) to associate the blog to your device.

To set up email posting, click the envelope icon next to a specific blog post. From there, you’ll be prompted to create a secret email address for your blog. Emails sent to it will be posted to your blog and photo attachments will be inserted between the post’s title and body.

On top of all of this, you can create blogs from mobile devices. More information on that can be found here.
For the time being, SMS posting is only available in the United States and does not support photos. The iPhone does not support MMS.
